I recently attended the British Red Cross First Aid for Baby and Child course. I cannot recommend it highly enough! If you are a parent or carer please do this course, even if it's a refresher as things do change (such as conflicting info on how to deal with choking these days) and it is easy to forget the overload of information.

So Violet is now 2 months old and I thought it would be the right time to tell you about how we are finding it going from 1 to 2 children (so far). ....I think was actually a bigger challenge and shock than having 1. You obviously kind of know what you are doing this time around (except for all the things that your brain has forced you to forget) but it’s having a little toddler running around while trying to remember how to change a newborn’s nappy that becomes a handful.

Finn recently turned three and we threw him a dinosaur themed birthday party. I think this will be the last year we can get away with a small gathering at home (why are even these small gatherings so exhausting?!) with just a few pals over- next year we will need more space and have to hire somewhere out.
