Having just spent a bank holiday weekend with two other couples with kids, it's dawned on me that it's really common to have a constant battle of the sexes when it comes to parenting. It's always re-assuring to see other couples having the same and/or similar issues to you. So Violet is now 2 months old and I thought it would be the right time to tell you about how we are finding it going from 1 to 2 children (so far). ....I think was actually a bigger challenge and shock than having 1. You obviously kind of know what you are doing this time around (except for all the things that your brain has forced you to forget) but it’s having a little toddler running around while trying to remember how to change a newborn’s nappy that becomes a handful.
