Kids rooms are always so much fun to design, style and decorate. It has been a bit of an evolving process getting my kids rooms finished so I thought I'd share some pics of what they currently look like, otherwise it will never happen!

Olive Loves Alfie has always been our local kids' clothes store on Church Street in Stoke Newington, N16. It's been around for 9 years now and has stood the test of time, always stocking a cool edit of the best of British, Scandi and Spanish kids brands. I probably go in there once a week to have a look at all the beautiful clothes as they stock our favourites including Mini Rodini, Tootsa MacGinty and Saltwater Sandals.

Avery Row make beautiful, luxury playmats. We have been using our Go Everywhere Mat since baby Violet was born and it has been super useful, this is what we love about it so far: It looks gorgeous - the soft print, colours and quality of the trims - we get lots of compliments on it. A pop of colour leather strap holds it all easily in place when you roll it up.

There are some great rugs out there for kids rooms that wouldn't look out of place in a normal room too. We just bought this OYOY adventure one for the new babies room and it's brilliant - Finn has already been pushing his cars around on it...

With less than (I've had to change this so many times it's taken me so long to write a new post!) 2 weeks until my due date I'm starting to think about the new babies room! Yes it's cutting it a bit fine, I guess I had better make it look like I'm getting ready to nest and feel a bit more in control of what's about to happen!

We think these screen prints, all by graphic designer Chris James, are great. The High Five would look good in an older kids room and the Jungle and Cactus prints would work well in a nursery (how amazing as a set of 3!).
