Here at Finlay Fox we love to support smaller independent businesses, especially those set up by creative mamas. Made by Skoo sells unique, hand made headdresses, crowns, cushions, aprons and chef hats. They have a beautiful handcrafted, vintage quality to them and I love the metallic fabrics she uses in some of the headpieces as well. Playful gifts are always so much fun to give and kids always respond really well to them. I used to work with Susannah and she is a very talented accessories designer so it's really nice to see her channeling her creativity into something else in her journey through motherhood. How cute is her little girl Evelyn who models for her!
Our favourite pieces are the headdresses (£20) but she also has some fab vintage trim fabric crowns (all handmade and cut so there will be slight variations and button colours and detailing will vary on each as they are a mix of vintage and new, so no two are the same) and the masked cushions are really fun too.
