I recently got invited to the Papu 'Wheres my Treasure', SS16 pop up launch party. Papu is a Finnish childrenswear and lifestyle brand, best known for its playful unisex graphic prints and high quality, all made from certified organic cotton. They are relatively new to the UK and stockists include the fab Lublue, Archies Boutique and Scandi Mini.
The event was held at the Finnish Institute in Kings Cross and I met some of the talented Papu team, all decked out in adult versions of their playful printed leggings. They are a lovely bunch and they threw a cracking party - lots of sweets, champagne, popcorn and yummy scandi style canapés.
I got to see the new SS16 collection and my favourite pieces were the popcorn print dress, waffle bodysuit and golden sausages tees. The 'Where's my treasure' theme is a tribute to little adventurers and tells a story of a children's party. The playful prints are a highlight and so great as they are unisex and the colour levels are soft and modern. The prices are at the slightly toppy end (from £21 for a bodysuit and from £34 for a dress) but you are paying for great quality and details like the expanding popper option on the bodysuits so they grow with your little one. I really like the cool, more unusual dress shapes they offer, can't wait to get one for Violet.
This is Violet rocking her popcorn bodysuit, it goes with so many of her clothes - so really useful. We love this brand and I can't recommend it enough :)
Thanks Papu for having us and the gorgeous clothes!
