I don't think I've ever posted about food or recipes (except for babies!) on the blog so you may think it's strange to find a recipe here. I come from a family of serious foodies and it is such an important part of my life (and hopefully my childrens when they grow up). Also I used to live in Singapore when I was younger so Asian food has been a really big part of my childhood and a strong influence on my taste buds!

"I'm Hungry!" This is the standard statement painfully made every half hour in our household by Finn at the moment. I personally find food and kids very challenging. Finn is very fussy - although he eats everything at nursery, from vegetables to sauces, he refuses to eat them at home. I've even got recipes of things he loves off the nursery to recreate at home and he just rejects it.

I think this will be the last year we can get away with a small gathering at home (why are even these small gatherings so exhausting?!) with just a few pals over- next year we will need more space and have to hire somewhere out.
