Wellies - a bit of a family essential when it comes to muddy walks, puddle jumping, beach trips and rainy days. We've been testing out BOGS - a new kind of welly (well more a boot than a welly) made with 100% waterproof neoprene panels which makes them more comfortable than standard wellies and also makes them much easier to get on and off (with handy handles too), whilst keeping you warm as well. I have to say my kids are not the most outdoorsy types but when it comes to puddle jumping and chasing waves on the beach they are well up for it! They have been perfect for our Norfolk trips, keeping the kids feet warm and dry and Im hoping their feet don't grow too fast so they will last the rest of winter.
Don't be put off by the BOGS name (assuming this is more to do with muddy bogs than toilets!), these are high quality, durable boots (with loads of invested technology whizz kid stuff I won't bore you with) and I'm holding out hope we will still be able to test them in some snow soon :) As Violet is becoming more and more confident on her feet its nice to see her in some proper footwear, nothing beats little legs in boots.
Testing them on the all important beaches in Norfolk...only issue was water going over and into the top of the boots!
Thanks to BOGS for sending us some boots to test out. We will keep you updated on how we get on with them!
Finn is wearing Kids Durham Solid in Khaki, £43 and Violet is wearing Baby Bogs B-MOC Puff Owl, £45. They also have adult styles too, I tested out the Classic High with Handles, £85.
