Percy Langley Autumn Edit

October 31, 2024 Emma Paton

I’m delighted to share my Autumn edit in collaboration with Percy Langley with you! If you are new to Percy Langley then in a nutshell they are like a mini sustainable department store, showcasing the very best of British clothing, designed to empower the wearer and the maker. Everything is ethically made from responsible materials, often in a slower and smaller way that is kinder to the planet.

I’ve pulled together a selection of looks that are easy to wear with versatility in mind. These looks also take into consideration my love of colour, texture , vintage and pattern.

This bright red Tina Skirt by Elwin is handmade in London and has the all important factor of an elasticated waist! I teamed it back with a pink Cashmere Jumper by by Mirla Beane. I layered over the dark Denim Jacket by Albaray - this is my hero piece for the season and works with every outfit! It’s such a nice relaxed boxy fit. And as for the tartan check bag, well this is a sneak peek of my collab with The Contents Bag launching next month!

The Rosalie Dress is by The Wellworn, it has all the timeless, vintage inspired design and prints that I love and is made from deadstock fabric here in the UK. I have shown it here with a couple of different knits by Cape Cove - the Multistripe Italian Jumper and the Soft Blue Sophie Cardigan. Also how special is this blue handmade Isla de Gar Bag!

I’m always drawn to timeless ginghams and checks and this Tina Skirt by Elwin is a show stopper! It has just the right amount of swoosh for an everyday skirt. I’m wearing it with the Curly Bomber Jacket by Albaray - such a nice length jacket with skirts and high waisted jeans, love that curly texture! The Shaw Sling Bag is made in East London and is a perfect size cross body bag.

Check clashing here by layering in a Quinton Chadwick scarf! This 100% lambswool scarf is spun in Yorkshire, made in Scotland and I can vouch for it’s softness. All the luxury feels, it would also make an excellent Christmas gift! Do check out her gloves too (here), they always sell out! The tank seen in this look is the Raye Knitted Vest by Elwin, the perfect Autumn layering piece made from 100% sustainable undyed British wool.

This black tiered lace skirt (coming online soon) by Minkie, nails the sheer trend that is big right now. I teamed it back with a bright pink knit from Quinton Chadwick and a hot pink Isla de Gar bag for that unique finishing touch!

This grey pleated Midi Skirt by Albaray has been on my wishlist for a while now and it doesn’t disappoint! The side buckle styling on it gives a nice nod to the kilt trend. I styled it with a Charl Knits Craske Shetland Wool jumper in the colour that truly sings AUTUMN! The leather blazer is an easy throw on to help elevate any outfit. This one by Albaray is classic, super soft with an easy relaxed fit that I look for in a blazer.

I’m happy to announce this dress by Studio Remade is actually called the ‘Emma’ dress! The perfect blend of a cord bodice and tartan skirt, it’s such a fun style to wear! Handmade in the UK in limited edition and deadstock fabrics. It also looks great with a chunky knit or cardigan over the top.

Lastly I had to style the plaid patchwork jeans by sustainable fashion house Fanfare. They are in a high waisted mom jean shape made from recycled and deadstock fabrics. I styled it with a Cape Cove silk blouse and knitted tabbard by Herdwear, the perfect layering piece!
