Linen in summer is one of my favourite fabrics to wear and I absolutely love this stripe linen co-ord set by small sustainable brand Má + Lin. I recently wore it on holiday in Comporta, Portugal and it was a dream to wear - lightweight, comfortable and airy. I have a discount code at the bottom of this post to share with you too to use at Má + Lin.
The set is made up of the baby blue Linen Olivia Shorts and Linen Cropped Frances Blouse (I’m wearing size medium in both). The top is a slightly cropped length (I’m 42 and say you are never too old to wear a cropped length!) and I would also wear back with linen trousers, denim shorts and high waist jeans. The shorts (with a comfy elasticated waist) I also wore simply back with a vest top and a khaki shirt thrown on top. Endless ways to mix and match this set up! It will work hard in your summer wardrobe. You can see the reel I made here with some ideas on how to style it.
The set is made of a luxurious Italian linen fabric which is a beautiful sustainable option when it comes to shopping more consciously. The set is mindfully made in Portugal which is where in fact I shot these images! Below are some beautiful snippets of Comporta I captured with it’s iconic blue and white walls and doors.
We stayed in a beautiful villa near Comporta that was surrounded by pine trees and rice paddy fields. Early June is such a lovely time of year to go away - hot in the day but a bit cooler in the mornings and evenings.
I love the french inspired aesthetics of Má + Lin and all the styles are made in limited edition runs and offer a clear supply chain for transparency.
