Super excited to share my collaboration with Dilli Grey! We have created a small limited edition capsule collection for summer. The pieces are all hand block printed in 100% organic cotton and made in India with love! Inspired by romantic prairie dreams, the 1970’s and vintage style these designs are perfect for the warm summer days and made to last forever. Some serious skills went into creating the sleeves on the dress and blouse by the Indian artisans. I am so pleased with the result and enjoyed working with Vickie so much on this, it’s been a real labour of love these last 6 months! We have known each other 5 years now and have similar passions about boho style, ethical and sustainable style.
First up is the Emma Dress, a vintage-inspired tiered maxi dress in a pretty peach and sage botanical print. Handmade on a soft antique white 100% organic cotton, with lace-trimmed bib, romantic puff shoulder and blouson sleeves, ending in a lace-trimmed cuff. There is an integrated waist-tie so you can adapt the fit to flatter your body. The patchwork print tiered skirt has side seam pockets; the perfect summer day dress for cool, effortless styling. I’m 5’7 and wear a size 12 which is my normal dress size. Dress length is 136cm, maxi length. The range is offered in sizes 8 - 18.
I love the patchwork print mixing and attention to detail on the statement sleeves. This dress can be worn dressed up with heels and a clutch bag for a special occasion or simply dressed down with dad or fisherman style sandals and a denim jacket slung over the top.
We also created some fun matching accessories including this hand-block printed, 100% organic cotton quilted pouch bag, with contrast piping trim and straps. The Emma Quilted Bag is a fun summer shape, perfect paired with the matching dress.
The Emma Scrunchie has handkerchief ties on the end for that romantic whimsical look tied freely in your hair. It can also be worn on your wrist, tied in a bow.
Next the Emma Blouse is one of those super useful wardrobe pieces that you will live in! I’ve always had a soft spot for ruffles and this blouse is super girly and fun. Style it up under dungarees, with denim shorts, straight leg jeans or khaki utility trousers. I’m wearing the large - I sized up as I prefer a more modern oversized blousy look but the medium would have worked well too.
There is also a Maxi Skirt for anyone that prefers to wear skirts, it looks great back with a white summer blouse or denim shirt.
We hope you love the collection!! Shop it here at Dill Grey. It’s limited edition so once its gone its gone!!
A massive thank you to Beckie Egan for taking these brilliant photos! We had a lot of fun in some local Suffolk fields capturing the romance of the collection.
