I always try to invest in jackets and outerwear that are fairly classic and recommend styles that will stand the test of time and trends! Parkas, Pea Coats, Wool Wrap Coats, Checks, Khaki utility and Puffa jackets. Styles that are functional and stylish and work on the school run and beyond. Practical styles always work best and it really is worth investing in quality over high street cheapness if you can! Now I’m out living in the country I’ve decided to invest in a long Puffa Jacket or Duvet Coat as they seem to be called these days!! I also think sizing up in some styles works better if you want to wear chunky knits underneath and often coats look more designer if they are a little oversized and not so fitted.
