I am super excited to show you my recent dress collaboration with Ethical Lifestyle brand Dilli Grey! As an ex buyer I have such a passion for product development so when Vickie asked if I could collaborate with her on my dream Autumn boho dress I jumped at the opportunity!! We share share an affinity for the 70s boho luxe look – channelling vintage silhouettes of statement sleeves, block prints and easy maxi shapes. The dress actually sold out super quickly (yay!) but they’ve ordered some more and it’s now back in stock but be quick! This is a limited edition style made in small runs out of India.
We drew up our dream autumn dress, working with their artisan printer and tailor in Jaipur to create this hand-block printed, 100% cotton maxi dress for the new season. Referencing iconic 70s designers including Ossie Clark and Celia Birtwell, the oversize paisley print comes in a warm, pomegranate with blush pink detail. The dramatic balloon sleeve gives a romantic feel, starting with a small puff shoulder and ending in a gently elasticated neat cuff. The gathered empire-line waist flows into a simple full skirt (with the all essential pockets!), finishing mid-calf to ankle, depending on height. I am 5’7 and wearing the medium, The dress is £99 and comes in XS - XL
I love the soft ‘Biba’ 70’s feel of the style and the dress works on so many levels - be it with sandals on the last Indian summer days or chunky boots and a card on cooler Autumnal days. It is so comfy and will suit all shapes and sizes.I have styled it in 6 different ways to show it’s versatility and how to get most use out of it over the coming cooler months…
From top left..
-With a skinny rollneck and biker or hiker boots (adding ribbed tights for super cold days)
-With a leather jacket, headband and trainers. A denim or aviator style jacket also works well
-With a chunky cardi, saddle bag, sparkly socks & clogs
-With white boots or cowboy boots
-With rollneck, trench or utility style jacket, crossbody bag and beanie. Khaki works so well back with these tones
-With tan knee high boots and a saddle bag for some 70s vibes
I hope you love the dress as much as I do!
