Oh I do love a good wedding! Sadly I have none to go to this year but I do get a lot of people asking me for wedding dress outfit ideas so here it is! A great excuse for me to try on some stunning dresses. I think a wedding is a good time to have some fun with fashion and styling - be it through shape, colour or accessories you can really go to town. My preference is always a dress as it is so easy and effortless so this is what I have focussed on for this post.
First up is this stunning pastel stripe rainbow dress of dreams! This Violet dress is by Stone Goya from Studio B Fashion (I’m wearing a medium). The voluminous sleeves and cuff make this smarter and more of a statement piece. I’ve teamed it back with Rose Gold metallic shoes, a beaded clutch and playful heart sunglasses. This is great for anyone who wants to cover up their arms and wear something that is comfortable without too low a neckline - the belt is adjustable so plenty of room for eating! There is also a top version of the dress which is gorgeous too, see here.

Personally I love a retro look to a wedding outfit, historically I’ve worn a lot of vintage pieces to weddings as it’s nice to know someone won’t turn up wearing the same thing! I fell in love with the voluminous a-line shape of this statement jacquard dress as soon as I saw it (I’m wearing a small). It has quite a 60’s feel and is perfect for anyone who likes a shorter length, oversized and comfy dressing. I’ve teamed it with a headband, black woven clutch bag and cat eye sunglasses and clogs for this playful look.

Ikat Headband by Punica £17.50
Anklet by Aspiga £8
Ganni is my go to brand for an occasion dress! I like the boho femininity to this one, it has a soft nostalgic feel and would work equally well with heeled cowboy boots for a more informal wedding look. I have teamed it with a small red bag that works well with the print. A gold or black bag would look nice too.

You can’t go wrong with a leopard print dress statement. I like the idea of a straw clutch bag with this one or a really bright colour to compliment the colour pops of the print.

It’s interesting that a lot of styles I’ve picked have long sleeves! I love a statement sleeve and they also have longevity as you can wear them in Autumn/Winter too! The jade colour of this subtle metallic Stine Goya dress blew me away, its so feminine and made me feel like a princess! The structured fabric makes more of a statement as it holds its shape so well.
