Cosy Knits Edit

Rose Red Lambswool Knit by Justine Tabak

Rose Red Lambswool Knit by Justine Tabak

It’s that time of year to start pulling out your cosy woolies! For me I love a statement knit (puff sleeves, strong colours and bold patterns) or something quite classic (grey marl, creams, funnel neck, Breton stripe) so I’ve included both in my little round up of my fave knit finds for 2019. I’m also loving all the fair isle designs, pattern clashing and ‘Stranger Things’ 80’s influence coming through.

I’m a strong believer in buying natural yarns if you can (I know some people are over-sensitive to the wool itch) but do consider the more sustainable and environmentally friendly options, investing in a decent knit will make you look forward to bringing it out every year when the temperatures drop. Plus get your wool combs out to give your existing knitwear a new lease of life and help ditch the bobbles. Chuck a blouse with a frilly collar on underneath to update an existing knit if you haven’t got the need or funds to buy something new. This simple trick will instantly update your look.

There are some amazing brands out there doing knits so well, a few of my faves are Navy Grey , Justine Tabak, and Wyse London, plus Studio B always has a great selection of Scandi brands and statement knits.

I hope you are inspired by and like my knit round up…Click the images to shop…

On the high street Zara has created this incredible statement sleeve knit that I have been lusting after…

Wise London have nailed the colours this season with their block stripes including this hot pink one below and this (currently sold out) one here.
