For our very first feature on #ShopSmall #ShopIndependent this Christmas I wanted to blog about Little Florence. I recently gave my husband a bespoke, personalised family print for his Birthday and it was such a hit that I had to share this unique and original gift idea with my readers. I hope you love it as much as me! Katie, a mum herself, always manages to capture the personalities of all the family members in her artwork. She works with you, using photos and requests to ensure she includes anything to help make your family portrait unique. It's all the little details that really make the print come to life and is a nice alternative to a family photo. These would make great mothers day, wedding, birthday and anniversary gifts as well.
Prices start at £30 but for a family of 4 like us, A4 size it was £90. For an extra £10 you can get additional copies of the same print made - we also gave a copy to my mother in law as a house warming gift and she loved it. The print came unframed but we just put ours in a white Ikea Ribba frame and it looks great.
Katie also makes personalised family portrait Christmas cards which we have just had made. It starts at £28 for a pack of 10 A6 cards. Looking forward to getting these sent out!
Lead time on personalised prints is 4 - 6 weeks so you need to get in quick if you want to give a print to someone as a gift for Christmas, however she has also recently launched a gift voucher package which is a nice alternative and it comes in a small presentation box with a catalogue of prints to look at.
There is also a Hat print (below) that has a much shorter lead-time and lower price starting at £25 and she will be taking orders on these right up until Christmas.
