Feel-good shoes // TOMS x WildAid

I remember having a WWF (World Wildlife Fund) panda money box when I was younger, for many years it sat by my bed, collecting my pennies. I've always been a fan of animals, animal protection and charities, in fact I wanted to be a vet when I was younger but quickly went off that idea after I realised what it really entailed! When I heard about TOMS recent collaboration with WildAid it struck a chord with me and I was very pleased to be invited along to their press brunch to see their new limited edition, panda inspired collection of shoes for kids and adults.

The range is super cute with little panda faced tiny TOMS for babies (UK 1.5 - 10) which is the style V is wearing. The other style is a panda camo print available in tiny TOMS, youth, women and mens sizes (mega twinning potential!). Camo and animal prints always work well with everything so its a useful summer shoe to invest in. Plus they are super easy to slip on and off. All styles are vegan and the best thing is that every pair of shoes you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. One for One. So it's a feel good purchase and such an inspiring business model.

TOMS proudly supports WildAid in its conservation programs dedicated to the giant panda, like those in China’s Sichuan Province, so our majestic friends can roam the Earth for generations to come. Yay to keeping these vulnerable creatures protected and that they will still be around for our children to see.

The event was hosted by blogger Susie Verrill from My Milo and Me, she's also a brand ambassador for TOMS, and guest speaker Tamara Gray, WildAid UK Chair of Trustees. There was panda themed colouring and activities for the kids and a lovely presentation to the grown ups about this brilliant cause, not forgetting some bubbles and yummy brunch treats to keep our energy up running around after our little ones.

If you haven't checked out Toms for a while you may have missed their bags (with every bag you purchase, TOMS help provide a safe birth for a mother and baby in need) and sunglasses (with every pair of eyewear you purchase, TOMS will help give sight to a person in need) ranges which I was also really impressed by.

We had a lot of panda fun, thanks for having us!
