We went to the Mothercare SS18 Press preview last month and got a sneak peak of some lovely things that will shortly start dropping in stores and online from January. As usual we wanted to share our favourite finds and top picks for the new season as we know you like a sneaky look at some beautiful new product to start getting excited about and cheer up your day :)
First up we went and had a look at our favourite, colourful retro brand - Little Bird by Jools Oliver. My standout pieces were a red printed blouse with a ric ran trim, a ribbed polo neck with rainbow stripes at the cuff (underneath the denim pinafore pictured below) and the colourful bedsets. The newborn range had some super cute baby grows (pictured towards the bottom) and as usual all the prints are very wearable. I have noticed there is some good home stuff in their sale at the moment too (click here), including the little plastic baskets below, if you want to grab a bargain before the new stuff arrives.
Next up was the Mothercare range where Violet took an instant liking to this straw pom pom hat! We spotted summer dresses of dreams aplenty (including red broderie and rainbow stripes) and how cool are these 'That's not my...' PJs?? Such a great gift to give along with the matching book. As for the metallic winged sandals - well can I request these in my size please?!
Thanks for having us Mothercare, we enjoyed eating the waffle sticks and Violet especially enjoyed playing with all the ELC toys. We watched queen of monochrome, Myleene Klass, getting filmed about her new range and liked the look of the new homeware pieces for her My K by Myleene Klass range.
