Finding good trousers for boys that aren't always tracksuit bottoms, jeans, chinos or leggings is really hard. We've finally found an amazing pair! They are smart, casual, comfy and cool all at the same time. In fact they are unisex so not just for boys. All hail the Kenzo Trousers from girlstalktoboys! girlstalktoboys is a new premium kidswear fashion brand, just launched and set up by mega mama Kelly Ekardt. If you love Korean and Japanese influenced ranges then this is the brand for you! Here are a few snaps taken recently of Finn wearing an outfit gifted to him from girlstalktoboys.
The trousers are made in a textured drapey fabric.......I would like these for myself please! The baseball tee is supersoft cotton with a star print and I like the combination of a casual tee with a smarter look pair of trousers. Comfy enough to do lots of jumping in!
The collection is inspired by the imagination and love for stars of Kelly's three year old daughter. It combines shooting stars, geometric star prints and Milky Way constellations. Compatibility and layering are the design principles of the range so everything can be mixed and matched offering countless outfit opportunities. Everything is designed and manufactured in London, England.
We visited Kelly at her Hackney studio recently (only down the road from us) to see some of the range and also a sneak peek of SS17.... it all looks amazing, great fabrics and interesting shapes - really original and unique. We can see good things happening for this kids brand, well done Kelly!
Kelly takes inspiration from Korean and Japanese fashion and the range is about building confidence in your children through what they wear - clothes speak louder than words! As we know kids feel good when they like what they are wearing and Finn certainly loves this outfit.
